I'm a moderate gamer. I'd like to know if I could get the same result cheaper, and if not, are thoses part all compatible?

Get a western Digital HDD instead of Seagate, Seagate's are cheap and breaks alot.

I guess getting twice the storage for 5 additionnal bucks is a good deal. Is the rest of the setup ok? I don't really know about the motherboard.

They are both 500GB, you are paying for that extra cache which comes in handy for gaming and moving data.

I wouldnt suggest getting a power supply case combo, they are usually really cheap and break. Get a psu from OCZ or corsair.
