I Love Cheat Engine ever since i had XP ever since i had 5.4 BUT Then i got 5.5 on vista and one day it stopped WORKING ForevER and i thought 5.6 would work but it didnt... Please make it work for vista... the problems are value searching when you do it it comes up with little numbers to search. And any other time after ive used it awhile NONE appear!!! please check to see if you can find out why it does not work and make a version that does pleasE!

WHAT IS DBVM?? where do i download it???

it's not cheat engine, it's the game. Just go ask the developers of the game you're playing to make it easier to find values

isent there an easier way i know there has to be! what operating system do you have?

It's the game. You probably applied some sort of patch that adds more anti-cheating techniques. Or you simply might be looking for the wrong value type. Nothing to do with CE since it does exactly what you tells it to do; it has no built-in AI.

And FYI, most of us have XP and Win7. Again, nothing to do with the operating system.

i was playing epic war 2 one day with (cheat engine 5.4) so the next day 5.5 comes out (download) get back on epic war 2 and play.. It worked the next day it worked the third day it didnt have any updates or id had known about it! and it didnt work!? so what happned? and it works on my frineds cpu still... he has XP and i odnt rule out an update just that i know the fact that it didnt have one.

Well.. CE works fine for me, and I'm using Vista. This may be a stupid question, but did you try to delete everything in the CE folder and reinstall it?

no accutally i didnt it always says a file of CE already existed O.o

uninstall and reinstall the new 5.6 version of ce. and CE works just fine on vista, you could also try disabling user accounts and run as admin.

Im using CE on Windows 7 x32 and x64 and it works perfectly
