Amazon's got lots of items like this that look (and probably are) cheap, but work fine. Personally, I've bought cheap Zune cord replacements and a USB SD card reader on Amazon for very little. They all work fine.
Plus, there are 45 reviews and the rating isn't 0.

| Yea I know. The 1 cent one has a 93% rating. Seems all good. Its just been a while since I used amazon, and the last time I got a used game that was way too scratched up and was refused a refund. But this is another animal I guess. Meh, I'm going to buy it then. Seems good.

1 kid can make 100 of those in a hour,
that's $5RMB
sounds fair to me.
they mostly likely make the money off shipping,
$2.98 shipping = $10RMB ( can get you a big bowl of pho or Chinese noodles)
sounds extreme fair to me.
