nvidia has def made some strange choices.
apparently now they have a boner for being able to push massive amounts of geometry when even the last generation cards could easily eat millions upon millions easily. i guess they want to enable devs to go really fucking berserk with it.

the new out of order stuff (read: stupid PolyMorph name) is likely a win.

the actual shading performance is still a mystery, as they give no real clocks to even enable a guess.

benchmarks != real world though.
for all we know it could crash and burn.
