|
|
Okay so I started learning how to make trainers...well about 4-5 years ago, but that was on-and-off. Now I started it, serious this time, and have actually gotten good at it. I looked at tutorials on Youtube etc.
Now my main problem is getting the addresses of something that doesn't give a value, for example health bars with no numbers.
How can Cheat Engine 5.5 find the value of a health bar if it doesn't show a value for me to work on?
Another problem is, though I'm progressing, is,
Now I can actually make (some) .exe trainers, and have them load up fine now. The problem is I can only get the options to freeze something to the given value, not increase or decrease.
I would have something like, NumberPad 5 for 10,000 money, and would set it to 'Allow Increase' in the Generate Trainer part, then when I open up that trainer and go into the game, once I press 10,000 it'll set the money to 10,000 but freeze it. How can I actually get it to stop lying to me about allowing it to increase?
If I can solve them two problems, then I should have no to little problems in the future.
Thanks for any help! _________________

You may search for an unknown value and then loose some HP and next search is for a decreased value, do this again until you get one address/value.
I would start making trainers with a programming language, cuz there you can easily change the things you want with one command... |

As far as I understand, you have to enter the next value before doing next scan, and that value has to be valid and has to be the new value. And to even get to that part you gotta know the first value, which is the problem when it doesn't show any numbers, just a health bar / experience bar etc. _________________

then do a decreased value by scan instead of an exact value
or an increased value scan if it went up
also, have you even tried the tutorial ? Step 3 describes that part _________________

No I didn't, I forgot about the tutorial. When I tried years ago (was only 13 / 14 the last time I tried) I got lost in the tutorial so this time round I just stuck with Youtube tutorials.
And I've tried what Step 3 told me to do, and did fine in the tutorial. Now I do the process of starting the program up (to test it, I used Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour), selected "Unknown initial value" then "Decreased value", clicked to recruit a tractor, then Alt + Tabbed it to click Next Scan, went back in, let the timer go down some more, then Next Scan again, got to 2 addresses. The two addresses kept changing in value by themselves, but I changed one to a low number (the green one first) and no difference, so I changed the other address and still no change.
Okay I've tried on other things and found some way of getting it to work. There's still the other problem, though. I'll still play about with it as best I can.
Thanks for the help. _________________

if you want to code your own trainers, start off with VB6 (Visual Basic 6.0). it's basic, but you have more control of over what you want to do with the addresses... tell me if you would like that idea... _________________
