That's way more than you need to play TF2 on full.

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail - $59.95
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042&cm_re=Antec_Three_Hundred-_-11-129-042-_-Product

Recertified: OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS-B 500W ATX12V / EPS12V Active PFC Power Supply - $39.99 (If you don't like refurb stuff, you can always grab a brand new one for 20 dollars more. In fact 400W is probably enough to power this rig, but this one was cheaper even 400W PSUs)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136177&Tpk=LG%20GH24NS50

XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Retail - $179.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150447&cm_re=HD_5770-_-14-150-447-_-Product

Total - $748.88

Note - I would not suggest using a 1080p monitor with this build, but it will handle most of the games out there on medium with no problems at all, and you can definitely run TF2 on high.

So you got like 50 dollars left over to buy yourself a nice gaming mouse or a brand new PSU if you don't like refurbs. I'm pretty sure OCZ still gives warranty to recertified goods though.

And for what it's worth, that PSU is excellent. I have the exact same one, and it's absolutely quiet as the name suggests.

YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH I SAVED USING COMBO DEALS AND REBATE LOL
THERE IS A EXTRA 100DOLLAR BUDGET FOR A BETTER PSU, A SECONDARY HARD DRIVE.
I think OP want a pre build, hence the topic.
avoid open box, refurb product like plague, shit always missing stuff and bad warranty ( bough a open box MSI p45 neo2 fr, could not request for a backplate when is missing from the box. p45 ud3p, bend mobo, still POST and worked)

Mmmm caviar green is a big no no for gaming. Should only be used for storage of stuff like pictures and music. NEVER play games on a caviar green.

He can go for a Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB I guess. That's about half the price of what the Caviar Green costs.
