2x ATI 5970...? Holy shit. Anyway, a quick google of something like 'overclocking i7 920 guide' seems to give quite a few results that should step you through the process. Also, the HAF932 is an awesome case, I have one too.

cpu-z verification or it didn't happen
ps: run intel burn test and watch it catch on fire.

we can't tell you a good voltage because it differs per chip

http://forums.pureoverclock.com/showthread.php?threadid=5736
I was using that as a guide but i got a bit confused where it said you need to keep the QPI\Dram voltage and the actual ram voltage atleast 0.5v within each other or its dangerous..? my DRAM bus voltage is as 1.64 so does this mean i need to keep the QPI\dram voltage within .5v of this? 1.14-2.14 :S?
or is it 0.05. also do i need to keep the cpu voltage within 0.5v of anything?
Thanks again

Also got a question about underclocking\undervolting can that harm the cpu?
i want to see how low i can clock it and volt it...
Thanks for all the help so far

no, but obviously you sacrifice stability when you dick with voltage.
mhz doesn't hurt hardware, voltage does.
how could you have possibly dropped 4ghz without having so much as a clue as to what you're doing?

i posted one up above.. why would i bull shit about somthing so stupid , look at the msn even says my name . I didnt know what i was doing and i still dont but its not that hard to overclock a computer. and yes i was bragging a bit, going from a P4 setup to an i7 is a huge step.
anyways I still need to know which voltages i need to keep within 0.5 of each other and if lowering the voltage to low (1V) can damage the cpu or the lowest safe voltage there is. Thanks
