Ok well, i keep being told that something is corrupt and to run chkdsk, i am running chkdsk atm, So hopefully it'll fix it, just wanted to know if any of you have had this problem and if you fixed it.

Added pic of the message, ( i'm running Xp with a w7 theme lol)

If it is not some terribly important file, I wouldn't worry much about it.

Reinstall Google Chrome and try again.

delete that directory, chrome should add it again (though, all your chrome settings will be lost)

Reinstall windows, if this keeps happening your hard drive is about to fucking fail.

Why should he reinstal windows , if he get his problem solved by running Chkdsk?, and corrupted files/folders happens on any hard drive -.- i've had several corrupted files and my hard drive is still running fine (in fact, 7/8 of my computers have had corrupted files, dont know about my mac -.-, nor about my older comps)

If random files are doing that RANDOMLY then your drive is obviously shitting bricks.

If a OS is telling things are corrupt more than likely main files are too.

A reinstall and backup of data is called for after a s.m.a.r.t hard drive test
