I had just reformatted my computer, and the only thing I've installed is the drivers, and other trust-able programs..


Anyways, does anyone have any information on that a0000566.exe?

google didn't help..

I'm using Norton 360 premier edition..
It's not the first time it detected a virus in System Volume Information...

thats system restore data, google "how to turn off system restore" and then turn it off and then back on to flush system restore.

looks like you have a bad case of norton 360.
remove it and install nod32 immediately.

I'd recommend stop using Norton, even AVG 8.0 Free Edition is better than that. :/

System volume info is just where it saves backup shit. If you cannot actually go into the folder, turning off and on system restore will clean it out.

Care to explain how he has an infected item in his backup then - right after a format? Unless it's on a partition that didn't get formatted.

The a2009875324.exe is just a name for the file in your system restore, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405 tells you how to purge system restore
