I'm building a new computer and I need help with picking parts. My budget is 690 usd.Please help Smile

What will it be used for? Gaming? What games do you want to play? School work? Rendering trees with 30,000 faces in Blender?

Wait untill fall my uncle told me that there is a dual quad comming out around then (it beats the i7) and by then prices will shift and such. also do u have a custom build pc right now?

it would be a true octo core, i7 is 4 cores with hyperthreading

He might be thinking of the Intel Core i9 which has 6, not 8 cores.
