hey guys im looking for a gamming monitor my limit is 500$

size doesn't matter really mater but i am planing to use my computer and my xbox 360 on it

Xbox and pc? Hmm. Might I suggest buying a nice 32 inch flat screen and using that? Might be a bit over kill on size for the pc.

Depends on what you're a fan of. Some people like lcd, some like plasma. However plasama tvs seem to burn out after 3 - 5 years. Also depends on the brand you're a fan of. Its kinda hard to decide for you.

uh, no.
they might end up a little dimmer than their original condition in double that time.

Uh yes they do. I have been told by many people who bought plasmas that they burned out on them in 3 years. Not to mention all the ones that get returned to walmart on a daily basis. It doesn't matter where it comes from.
