Cousin's locked out, and I'm not sure how to. It's not the same as Windows XP :c.

Her account is the only one on the laptop, and I'm assuming that I'll have to use some sort of password cracker.

Edit: I reset the password to blank, since Ophcrack couldn't find the password.

I dont think a reset disc works. You're pretty fucked on this because vista doesnt have backup admin on, unless you do something to turn it on. I'm not so sure you can unless there is a special crack disk that works with password reset.

Try an ophcrack live CD.
http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php?type=livecd

It's kind of a pain in the ass but you should be able to bruteforce the password within a few minutes. See here for a guide.
