Please note this will be my first build and I don't know too much about this, I did some research and this is what I came up with.

Buying headset after building comp.

I'd like to keep it under 1000$.

Right off the bat, get this hard drive.
250 more gb for $5.
I would suggest an i5 750 with this mobo.
this monitor has a higher resolution and its samsung so its a high quality panel.
this case has great cooling and is cheaper.
this ram saves you $100.
this psu would suffice.
what gpu do you want to use?

cfx runs fine on intel. you will get better performance, and if you price match this price on the 750 at bestbuy or something then you will save about $40.
