|
|
I've been using a 4 year old laptop that so far hasn't been utter crap to me. However, it's old >_> I got little room to download and i really can't do anything else other than watch movies, music, or write(And play one or two crappy games like MS.)
So, i've decided to buy a new laptop.
I don't want something over the top, i just want something moderately good.
What can i get with a range of $700-$1,000?
I would prefer something that i could buy from BestBuy. >.>
-----
Edit:
Dumb question,
Would a store bought desktop be better given the same budget?
If yes, then any advice on what to get?
I'm more open for a laptop, but i think a Desktop would be fine for me too.

Miami, Florida.
Also, would like to point out that i'm fine with buying a desktop if it ends up being better. Same budget would apply here.
(Building one on my own is not an option for me. I know nothing about PCs.)

Mobile tech has evolved alot in the past few years. Sooner or later laptops are all gonna use the MXM/Dell slot or something similar as a basic thing. They will also start having a much better cooling system, or atleast a second fan. Check compUSA out too. I know Florida has them still.

Waittt what? now your talking about desktops?
Getting a little confused >.<
About the laptop
http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5403063&CatId=4942
if you want to buy with a store.
If you order online i would go with Talix's recommendation
