...you will get vac banned if you join a vac secure server with CE running and injected in the .exe WITHOUT CHANGING any memory value?

Well, it does that because WPM(WriteProcessMemory) should not be messed with it all, no values should be altered other they are serverside and if something even "locks" on to the game then it auto bans because it knows you are up to no good.
This is one of VAC's main anti-hacking protections..and Cheat Engine, WPE Pro, etc etc puts a breakpoint on WriteProcessMemory once it locks onto the game

kernelmode openprocess shouldn't trigger it (unless you used hypermode scan). But I think the main problem is that they detect cheat engine itself and don't care if it's attached to the game or not

You could be right, a lot games detect well known cheating tools and will auto ban you if its detected in title bars

i don't think valve ban the account for just installing cheat engine in the system. a lot of people is using cheat engine for leveling perks in a game called "killing floor" in offline mode and i don't have notices of someone banned
so...i only want to know: does cheat engine modify ANYTHING of the process, or files associated, by ONLY injecting it in a process?

opening a process, no
injecting into the process, yes (hypermode)
