| For some reason my laptop (Hp Pavillion dv6000) doesnt't detect any wireless networks besides the one in my home. I go to my cousins house and it doesn't detect his. I go to my sisters house and it doesn't detect that one. Please can someone help me cayse i have allready tried to roll back the driver, updating the driver but nothing works. It just sais "no wireless networks have been detected" Also this is how my network connection dialog box looks :

i have the same problem and need some help.
i cant connect to any networks, not even my own one.
thats why i have to use the gay desktop.

| Try clicking the 'Add..' button. It will show a list of available networks to connect to. If not, there's probably a different application that handles it.

when i click the add button it takes me through installation.

i did that first, but nothing had come up for me.

Hmmm so no one has really helped me thanks though but man this is really bugging me whats a laptop withought wifi? a big paper weight thats what it is!
Sticky this cause i know alot of people have this issue once in a while!

That box is only for the wireless networks you have already connected to, if you haven't connect to any of them yet, that box will be empty.
To search for wireless connections, double click on the single monitor icon with the red X on it.
On HP notebooks, the wifi led is blue if it's turn on
