|
|
Hello,
I have a retarded problem with CE5.5 on Win7 x64.
Until recently it worked well w/o any problems. Recently, after some minutes of usage (around 10) the GUI kind of freezes and the program becomes unusable. With "kind of freezes" i mean, that i can still press buttons, but without any reaction. I can't even close the program unless i kill the process. Reinstalling didn't work.
I haven't installed anything, that can block the work of CE, except Windows updates. Also this is the first time ever i experience any problems with CE on W7.
Any solutions on how to fix this problem?

Read before you speak... http://www.w7forums.com/windows-7-64-bit-vs-32-bit-t484.html
And back on topic. Do you use some spesiale settings in CE? If you are not, then try to mess around with them;)

I am using the default settings, messing around didn't help.
Sometimes it freezes, other times i am able to click buttons, sometimes it loses some of the buttons (they don't appear after a program was over CE).

| I am on account with administrative rights plus i have UAC disabled. ChosenOne - it proves nothing, since it worked just fine before.

The problem solved itself O_o
But now when i try to set a hotkey or do a letter search in my CT (e.g. press the first letter of the name of the script) it gives me access violation. Something's wrong with the GUI this version.
