I am going to be building a new computer soon-ish (after Christmas) and I had a question about a graphics card. Would it be better for me to buy say two 9800 GTX's and put them in SLI or just buy one GTX 275? I am looking for a good performance to price ratio.
And the ones that I am looking in specific are:

Also, if anything should I just get a GTX 285? But then I wouldn't have much money for anything else.

Moreover, this question applies to Crossfire, too.

Not worth SLIing two 9800GTs. Go for the GTX 275.

But wouldn't putting them in SLI almost double the power?
What would be the main difference? I need a little bit of an explanation.

its not worth it to sli 2 geforce 9800

If you can help it, try to stick to single card solutions.

Often times, you will run into games and applications that don't make use of a dual card solution.
