Frustrating computer problem!

Ok well this has been bugging me for 3 days now and im about to throw my comp down the stairz lol

Anyways, everytime i click a ".exe" file, explorer.exe stops working... WooHoo?

Out of all programs i have used to let my friends connect to computer, i chose PoisonIvy, not a good idea when your friend likes to upload and download files from your computer while you are flying an F-16 Fighter jet over the enemy base dropping bombs....

Well, i have a little off topic, so does anyone have a solution?

i have scanned my comp numerous times, along with frequent reboots.

Specs: ATI Radeon HD 4850 with 8.14 drivers
Windows Vista Home Premium 6.0 build 6002
3070 mb ram
AMD Phenom 8400 Triple-Core Processor (3 CPUS) 2.1Ghz
Gateway GT5670

What was your reasoning for not posting this in the relevant section?

Computer Talk is clearly not the correct place to post something computer related, better post in General Discussions.
