What exact Motherboard do you have?
I can link you to drivers but I need the more details.
To find out your motherboard, Download CPU-z or Speccy, both free applications you can download from Google.

Check here and here, also - don't you have CD with drivers for your motherboard?
Try to just plugin your LAN cable, go to network connections and create a network. If it doesn't work out go to device manager and check if there is a yellow question on your lan adapter. If there is, a driver installation is required, if there is none - you should just create a connection.
