I noticed the last time a portable version was made was like '08, and the links are long dead.

It's not a packed version, so you can run it quickly from a flash drive at school or whatever.
All I did was take out the registry part so it doesn't count as a program. |

Dude to make a "portable" version is really easy :
Install CE, copy the directory to somewhere else, uninstall CE in the common way. Now you have your portable version (the on you copied).
The registry is not needed to just run and make scans... |

Sort of, it will still be picked up by game guard unless you mask it, which is another story. |

Right, it's not in add/remove programs.
you can also set the folder attributes to hidden, then change folder options to not show hidden folders.
If you do that, if won't show up even if you search for it, but you can still access it by typing the address in windows explorer.
I do this with all of my programs, so feel free to make requests. |

Freaky, I was just going through my registry.
And yeah, I notice it saves the first time user and stuff.
I can just edit the source so it doesn't store dwords right? |

you can also just run the ceregreset app that will delete those settings
