Go to http://www.crucial.com/index.aspx
Choose your computer spec and they'll find the ram you'll need.
And for your hard drive, it depends on what kind your laptop support.

use crucial and it will give you the direct link to your ram. Personally, I used 4allmemory.com and got the same ram for 3 bucks cheaper and free shipping. Took 4 days over the weekend (ordered friday) to reach my mailbox. Ram works perfect

The OP's craptop runs standard 200 pin DDR2 RAM at 667MHz, there's really no need to use any tools to figure it out.
