1. 300$ is not enough for a gaming computer. With 300$ in your wallet you can buy a comp good enough for internet, M$ Office and Photoshop, but not really good enough for gaming.
2. When you buy a motherboard you (usually) also get an assembling manual. Nowadays these manuals are good enough (if you have some skills and I mean a bit more than knowing which end of the screwdriver you should hold in your hand) to make you able to assemble your comp.
PS: If you are colourblind don't try plugging the front panel USB's wires into the motherboard.

Building a computer yourself is the only way to make a basic gaming rig since you only have $300.All commercial PCs in stores are minimum $400 and trust me, those aren't gaming PCs
For $300 your lucky to get anything.

$300 is nothing. I wouldn't personally spend less then $200USD on a Graphics Card now let alone a whole computer.

You won't find one for under 300, or under 500 pre-built that's even somewhat good, unless you want to settle for 5fps in games with all low settings. Build your own, but spend at least 500 on it.

Those are barebone kits, which explains why those aren't that bad.
Protip: Barebone kits don't come assembled.

I would say go with the AMD build.
Has better stuff in it if you don't mind an AMD CPU.
