i just installed my windows 7 ultimate x86
and downloaded the nvidia graphics driver for windows 7
but when i went here, i see that the driver for my motherboard still does not support windows 7
i also noticed that it seems like there is nothing wrong with my pc even if i did not install the motherboard driver
do i still need to install it?

Your motherboard? i think you mean chipset. If you have a internal network card ( Ethernet) then you would need to install the motherboard drivers for Internet.

OP, if you haven't seen poor performance, I guess you don't really need to install the drivers (check device manager to see if anything doesn't have a driver..)
Keep in mind that most Vista drivers work with 7.

Chances are, Windows 7 already installed something generic for the chipset...
