Ooh I did forget a fan, which is very much a necessity for i7s. Stock fans aren't very good, and for the i7 you really wanna keep it cool.
Also, OP could pretty much go with any of the RAM setups listed here, although I really wouldn't recommend the G.Skill ones. And I personally don't see why people really need 6GB or more of RAM. 4GB is ample for most people. _________________

the G.SKILL is 2x2, and they are gold tier ram liek Cosair, unless you talking about the 6gb OCZ gold, then there is the 2x2 OCZ gold for 90$ and free usb drive. _________________

yeah a cheaper case.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197&cm_re=cooler_master_haf-_-11-119-197-_-Product (for rich people, you can always spend more for the full atx, no you don't need full atx)
and go for Western Digital Caviar Black, use Green as storage.
cheaper psu : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005&cm_re=corsair_650w-_-17-139-005-_-Product
