No, and the performance increase would be negligible in modern systems anyways.

Maybe if you figured out how to write your own driver for it. I don't know much about programming, but I would guess that that would be extremely complicated. Plus, it wouldn't increase your performance by much at all.

If only. That be a nice thing, but I'm pretty sure all mobos switch off the chipset when a pci/e card is in use.
