I was downloading Windows 7 from a torrent and I downloaded 2 them from 2 seperate torrents. They both came with hash checkers. They are executable files, my question was what do they do? When do I run them? and Are they critical on installing Windows 7?

No you run it, select the iso, and let it check before you install.

You check the hash for your file against the stated one to confirm you have a 100% correct / downloaded file.

Most modern torrent clients offer built-in hash checking, so there's not much need for you to do it yourself.

You guys are mentioning an iso file, mine didn`t come with one, but it comes with a loader. "Windows7loader.exe' and they say I should start it when I`m offline. They also give me iso converters in the file, but Idk why because Idk which file to convert into an iso.
(I`m not experienced with this whole torrent downloading and iso business.)

This forum isn't here for providing support for warez, ask somewhere else or use google.

even though I'm installing a pirated win7 on a different system this very moment, and that windows 7 loader thing is for activating the install iirc

EDIT: @below: Lolnevermind

EDIT2:

The windows 7 loader that came with the torrent is generally for activating the OS.

The windows 7 disc should, in the root directory, contain the files:
autorun.inf
bootmgr
setup.exe

as well as the folders:
boot
efi
sources
support
upgrade

If you're using ImgBurn, to create a bootable disc from the above files:
1. Load program (obviously)
2. Write files/folders to disc
3. Add the above files/folders to the queue by dragging them into the area (or manually add them via the buttons on the side)
4. Under the "options" tab, change the file system to UDF, revision 1.02. Check "recursive subdirectories", "include hidden files", "include system files".
5. Under labels, choose a name for the disc (as well as the other crap if you want), such as Win7RTF or something.
6. To make the disc bootable, under Advanced > Bootable disc, select "make image bootable". Next to "boot image", click the browse button and find boot\etfsboot.com
7. It might be a good idea to set the burn speed down to 8x or below under "device", however all the other default options would be fine. Click the burn button and wait until it finishes.

If you're looking only to install it on that computer and don't give two shits about a dvd, just run setup.exe.

This thread can stay open, and I'll change the warez rule a bit.. topics like this allowed, suggesting warez, providing it, etc isn't. You can help people with pirated software, so long as it's not providing a crack/serial/url or anything like that.
