This is an ocean view I did in Illustrator CS3 in about 10 minutes.

please, don't post things like this... post things that you are really proud of.

Follow some tutorials, don't be stubborn, elaborate.

please don't post things that you have done is almost no time.

Elaborate your posts. if you are posting for rating at least post something that can be at least considered in the average (( check out other posts in the art section for reference ))

if you are requesting critics to improve, write it letting ppl know so we can help.

threads like this should really be considered as spam.

I don't mean it specifically to this thread but lots of thread that has been lowering the level of the art section. when posting please elaborate more in your posts. ( not criticizing art work but the way you present them. )

Love how you colored the water. Change from light greenish blue to blue was a nice detail choice.

Advice: Don't outline the clouds. You could also make the outlines fainter. Give them more "mass" and volume.
Oh and give the sun a good light color instead of the pale one you chose.

He's clearly posting something for us to see. Its obvious that we are to post opinions. Others came in and posted their own things on his thread when he didn't ask for it.

Post like yours should really be considered spam given that they are nothing but flame. Also, a ban is a little bit too much over the top for what you said. A warning, at least, because it would be spam to post nothing but TL:DR
