How do I correlate ReadProcessMemory() and this?

In cheat engine the address is displayed as "theprocess.exe+503ff" or similiar. How do I use this in ReadProcessMemory()? I don't know what I am supposed to do here. I am using VB6.

If CE shows it like that, add it like that to your CT and it will display the real address in the CT, if you don't understand Slugsnack's explanation.

if i am right,you can also use: $00400000 as address
