the i5 is $320 and the amd is $245. is the i5 worth the cash? i want to keep this build as cheap as possible. this will be for gaming at 1920x1080.

Crysis is generally GPU-bound at the higher settings, depending on the tests. If it's low resolutions at low detail levels, then that'll be a better indicator of CPU performance. The Core i5 usually does a good job of smashing all of the Phenom IIs though (including the flagship BE model).

What's the combo?
