who knows about oem rebuilding.
I dont want someone to blurt out a bunch of illegal stuff so be carefull what you say or pm me
I am rebuilding a custumers oem disk for a sony vaio for unattended installation.
they have badly damaged there disk and replaced there harddisk. they decided to use a pirated version of windows and would like to reverse this to there sony vaio home oem.
since sony will no longer supply a disk for this model they have hired me for a very good price to complete a disk for them based on there damaged disk and there genuine sticker
I am not sure about finding the pid of an xp oem on the sticker from what I gather it is X08-73061 I am not sure
I plan on rebuilding this from an original xp home oem unbranded oem disk useing the sony oem files I have gotton and implementing there serial into it with the maching pid.
anyone want to contribute anything helpfull here such as verifying that the pid is on the sticker?
my other account was inactive and I lost my email _________________
You need the actually sony oem install disks for that sticker to work. But if you dont have it why not just use magical jellybean to change there cd key to the legal one.
