I followed a tutorial on YouTube, and made this browser, oh, and somebody please tell me how to make it an .exe? Because I have to publish it as an an application.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VOR0KNVX

Its very simple.

You can ask me to upload it elsewhere!

YOU HAVE TO PUT THE WWW. IN THE TEXT BAR.

I used Visual Basic 08, and I didn't use a template or anything, I did it from scratch, and I'm posting a screeny right now.

You do realize that the .NET WebBrowser control is just IE8, right?

This - it uses the same rendering engine (Trident), making it essentially identical to many of the same vulnerabilities IE carries.

Draging out some controls and writing 1-10 lines of code is so hard. It is tho a good start. Try add some more features. Practice gives you experience.

When and if you feel ready for it you could try to parse the source code of a webpage and build the site.

Building a rendering engine that conforms to standards is a PITA, even for teams of developers - Webkit, a project started by Apple, still struggles to conform (Custom patches having being added to pass Acid3).

Just choose a rendering engine to implement, should you want your own browser (I recommend either Webkit or Gecko; the former Chrome and Safari use, the later most open source browsers use, such as Firefox).

Uhh.... These self made browsers are simply: useless.
If they don't have any good functions in it.
