a CPU is multi-core, in this instance 2 (dual) and they (newegg) listed the cpu as 2.4 ghz, would that be a single core 2.4 + 2.4 or is that already combined?
So lets say this is what it said on the product details :

Just so you know, they don't add up. A Core 2 Duo @2.4GHz cannot operate at 4.8GHz.
