I have an auto assemble script that is set to a hotkey to enable or disable it. The hotkey works if i press the key manually, but when I use the hotkey in an AC Tool script, it doesn't work. can anyone give me an explanation as to why ac tool doesn't recognize the cheat engine aa hotkey and possibly a solution to this problem?
most likely you didnt set actools to focus on the cheat engine window before clicking the hotkey.
For now ill assume your using Cheat Engine 5.3. to set actools to focus on that window it would be done like this
SetActiveWindow Cheat Engine 5.3
While 1=1
Keys "your hotkey goes here"
Delay "for however long you want it to be on for
Keys "your hotkey again to turn it off.
Delay "For however long you want it to wait before activating again

Thanks, I'll try that. I didn't know the hot key only works when the CE window is active. I had thought that the CE global hotkey would work for whichever program it's hooked to, since when I press the key manually while the MS is active (in full screen) it works fine.
