Dells tech team are faggots, so they never helped,
Can someone generate a master pass code for me?

 My service tag is 6841j31
 Express svs code is 13551213277

 Thanks.
You can use programs like masterpw.exe or latitude.exe.

Im trying that, but i doubt its working.
You have to remember that laptops =/= desktops.

Oh, didn't bother to look to see if it was a laptop. Maybe try this:

  	  | RealBlackStuff wrote: | | Go into a command-session (or DOS-box) in any OS you like. Go to the directory with the LATITUDE.EXE program in it (size is only 5,467).
Type in latitude 12345 and hit enter. You have to substitute 12345 with your 5-character service tag number. The program then gives you the password.
Simple (if you know how to).

Edited by Per: Note that some antivirus programs might indentify this file is a "hacktool" that is perfectly ok, the file indeed is a "hacktool" but it does not do anything "bad" to your computer.
That is it only does what has been explained in this thread and that classifies it as a hacktool...

				| Remove the CMOS battery and power on the computer for a little while to use the power stored in the relevant capacitors. It'll probably be a pain in the ass (that model requires the removal of the keyboard and like 12 screws to get to anything) but I can't see why it wouldn't work.
 EDIT: Here:

				| There's two ways you're going to get past the BIOS password:
-Call Dell, explain the situation, try to get them to give you the master password for your particular laptop.

-Jump a certain set of pins on the CMOS chip with the laptop running. I've had to do it a few times, it fucking sucks, but sometimes it's the only option. There should be a tutorial on the net for your specific model. Doing that will erase your service tag from the laptop though, but it shouldn't really matter for you.

				| Some people may lock their HD and you will see the same exact screen. Maybe your lucky and that's the HD password your looking at.
 Remove the HD
