I wrote a little test program to call WinAPI functions. One of these functions is not working for me(Beep()). I don't know if this is my laptop or the actual code. Can someone test this for me and reply with results?
Can somebody test this and tell me if it works please?

I've used Beep() a million times, it uses your actual case speaker.

It's an especially annoying function because you don't get control back until the beep ends. SCREEEEEEEEEEEEE

I thought it used an onboard speaker or something. You're saying it will work with headphones?

Oh, hmm. Wow it's so... low key? That was my problem I guess. I can barely hear anything at all.

There's a little speaker on the motherboard or attached to the motherboard.
It creates the little beeps when there is a problem such as RAM failure etc.
Some people like to incorporate it to there program's, but personally, I prefer My.Computer.Audio.PlaySystemSound(Media.SystemSounds.XXXXX)

It doesn't use your headphones / speakers. Not all motherboards will have an onboard speaker and instead need to use a case speaker (or one you can buy for like a dollar and connect yourself)

Mine is pretty pretty loud.

Yeah, this laptop does not have an on board speaker. Sad
