Cryoma: notice how I made the blade thicker! You were totally right that it was too thin.
Edit: It's an amazing thing that I'm starting to notice: when my pixel art is actually good and there's nothing to brutally insult about it, people take minimal interest in it.

Why is the hilt so pixelated?
If you want to make a small pixel piece, do it big first, then resize. It eliminates a lot of the rough-looking edges.

I don't know, I guess I just felt like making the hily sort of dotted. The bottom part of the hilt really is that way, though. I don't make a large thing and then resize it, If you thought about that you'd realize why that couldn't work. Instead, I work on it while zoomed in.

lol its like you open photoshop, render the image. then go to filter > Something > Pixelate  that'd be ftw
