Do a virus scan, especially when you know it's a virus. Use MalwareBytes and Spyware S&D. Also install Avira and ZoneAlarm.
Out of curiosity, do you currently have any AV installed?

Download Malware Bytes Anti Malware and do a scan with it. Also suggest getting hijack this - run it and post a log of your current running processes and what not.
I'd also suggest switching from Internet Explorer to a more secure browser. I perfer firefox
Edit: It's actually not malware or anything, that maple private server is just shitty - it pops up for me too. It's a way for them to make money by having potential players fill out surveys.

Yeah, with most of these things it's not a virus. As SF said you should download Hijack This and a proper AV. I'd suggest AVG or Nod32.

Yes you are a hypocrite. And there is a missing full stop after wroung and before Thats. And Thats spelt as That's. And cheatengine is spelt Cheat Engine. If you're going to criticize someone on their use of the English language the least you could do is not abuse it yourself. Hell, I'm probably managing to be hypocritical right now. In whatever case, the OP's question has been answered and any subsequent posts, including this one, are effectively spam.
Requesting lock before this grows into an even bigger shitstorm than it already is.
