I know its new so I came to ask if anyone else has had an instance where DWM.exe just crashed completely and the internet stopped working untill you rebooted? It struck me as weird but i did a virus scan last night and got nothing wrong with my laptop. It seems to have no issues besides that one thing happening a little while ago. It was a first also. The service crashed and i couldnt restart it.
Edit: ok now my pc randomly BSOD just now. This is starting to make me think i got some huge virus. It said something about page file in a non page file area when it was dumping in the BSOD. |

I don't know about the exact symptoms, but a family member had a laptop with a hard drive that had bad sectors, led to some processes crashing/random BSODs before not starting at all. Hard drive being replaced fixed it all.
If it's really bad, try reformatting first. |

Unless you managed to contract some hilariously evil rootkit, I'd say it's more than likely RAM.
Run memtest86+ overnight or equally as long. |

I think it was just a fluke. It hasnt happened since. Yesterday was a really bad day. My car battery died in pouring rain, and all sorts of shit. I used a memtest that worked while windows was on testing the unused ram and it came up clean after 2 hours of testing. I been running games for the past 14+ hours afk or otherwise and all good. The only thing I had a problem with since was trying to instal GOMplayer which has a compatibility issue with windows 7/vista causing BSOD. |

My computer only crashed once since I installed Win7, but I did have instances where my computer kept losing connection to the internet.
I updated my network drivers and it works again. |
