Hey guys i have an old computer that had a virus i wanted to reformat it but i forgot. I just wanted to make sure if this is right. Do you delete Windows system32 then put in the OS cd Question Question

Please help me Sad

You don't need to delete sytem32, just put in your CD, it'll ask what you want to do.

ohhh but i thought you had to delete the C drive and then put in the CD Neutral

Put in the CD, it'll ask you if you want to reinstall Windows (and that'll ask if you later if you want to reformat).

Plus deleting system32=/=deleting the C drive. That just makes it so Windows can't start up. Besides, deleting the C drive? That doesn't even really make sense.

lol ok i heard this from my dumb ass friend and also thanks for the help now i have to do is just find my OS cd and reinstall my OS
