Anyway I can REVERT to the older version of MSN, I fucking HATE the newer version and there fucking mandatory FORCED download.....

no, you can't sign in until you have the latest version of messenger, trust me I've tried

Just for shits and giggles, I can still log in with MSN 4.7.

If you don't like the latest version of MSN for whatever reason, you can still use a 3rd party client like Pidgin. Not sure about downgrading however.
