hi

currently my windows vista runs autorun at startup. i have 8 alcohol virtual drives, it gets very annoying to close all the autorun windows everytime you startup.

i was wondering if i can turn off autorun but just at startup not just when i insert a disk into my regular drive. or alternatively disable autorun on just the alcohol virtual drives

Start >> execute >> enter 'msconfig'

From there you can select 'Boot' or 'start up' or something close to that. That makes you able to select the things you want to run on start up.

Start > run > services.msc > Shell Hardware Detection > Disabled.
