No. It's not always the case. But in this case, yeah, the fractals have only been slapped on. It's one of those usual first sigs. Would be best if you join a GFX forum instead, you'll learn much more.

its not too bad for a first sig. as others said, the way the effects are it doesnt look good. I personaly dont like the text or th colour choice. With more practice you will get better. try checking our forums that deal mainly with art/graphics, and try a few tutorials so that you learn more.
