That's a very unnatural and strong light source. You can do better. :< If you're going for smudged effects, try making them stronger of sorts. And make the focal understandable, I'm having trouble with what it is.

I don't actually know what I was going for, I just had time to kill after school and wasn't too eager to do homework, so I threw this together. :3

Bad choice of render on my part I guess, not to mention I scaled it wrong since everyone seems to be having trouble telling what it is, though the posture of this guy plus the mask didn't make it very easy. xD I just happened to find it interesting, so I used it. ;o And I guess halfway through I decided I wanted the light source to be some magical ball or something to complement the whole idea behind the render, so eh.

lower saturation. darken a bit, and try a better render next time. this could be much better with a good render

Small reworks done (darkened, attempted text), continue commenting please. :]

And no I didn't change/resize the render, I'd basically be starting from scratch if I did so, so I'll keep what you guys said about it being confusing in mind for next time.

I prefer the brighter one, and I think the text looks great. Not sure why people have such a problem with the text, it looks just fine to me.
