As Frdrckk suggested. I would go with some tutorials. Pixel2life(.)com is a great index source for them. What seems to plex a lot of people is 'text' - It normally bothers the hell out of me. You'll find some pretty good stuff if you look around on there. I can always offer some points of advice if you'd like.

3/10 for effort.

Its all just pcitures slapped on stocks with crap text. Read some tutorials, i recommend deviantart.
