ok this might sound extremely stupid but...
you know how some catrs have remote starters, or sometimes you can buy them. is there a remote starter for a computer?

Buy a brother/sister to start it for you, easiest way.
You can wake up a computer through the LAN;PS/2 keyboad combination/anything supported by the BIOS. There are other solutions, but they are even more lame.

It takes probably about 3 seconds for my computer to go from sleep to desktop. Unless you REALLY need to have it on at a specific time while you aren't there, can you really not just wait?
