| Well here it is it looks funny to me and I want the default view back permanently. I've changed it once before but it keeps going back on it's own. What do I do?

I believe what he's saying is he doesn't like the Tile View as default, and he changes it but it returns back to Tiles, how do i keep it default or normally as a different selected view... Am I wrong?

| Umm I meant that it should be displayed is details with the name, publisher, size, etc. column (I'm talking about the uninstall window). Also I don't know how the my computer page used o look. Just look at yours if you have vista and compare. One thing I know about the my computer page is that the bar at the bottom of the C: is missing, it shows the used disk space.

That would only switch to the details view, but it wouldn't be default and next time he re opens the uninstall panel it will go back to tiles...

I've used that method tons of times and it does not work as Vista seem to have a short term memory and start to randomly change the default view on its own.
I could be opening Computer and my icons will be in list view and tiled view the next.
Here is a more advanced method which will make Vista remember your view settings. *
*Not promoting other forums.
