I upgraded to Win7 around a month ago and I never needed to use my scanner until yesterday. It's attached to my printer and as soon as I plugged my printer in, Win7 automatically downloaded and installed the correct drivers for me. I had assumed at the time that the scanner drivers were working as well.

Now I try scanning something, and it won't work. I use the disc that came with my printer, but it only contained drivers for WinXP. So I go to the website for the printer and download the drivers for Vista, those don't work either and there are no drivers created for Win7. Has anybody else had this problem with their scanners or something? And what would you guys suggest me do?

My printer is the HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One.

Upgrade through windows update. If it doesnt have any drivers, you'll have to wait.

My computer does not support software virtualization.

I have already explored that method.
