My iPod Touch recently crashed on me, going from full battery to absolutely no battery at all, and it has no reaction when I put it on the charger, and I tried holding both the home button and the sleep button a the same time. The computer acts like nothing is on the USB. AND YES, I've tried DFU mode too.
So I pretty much tried everything on google to fix my iPod.
So the question: Will apple still fix my iPod Touch (If I pay them) even if its jailbroken and not fine me?
I read some stuff on google about this, and some say that apple will fine me, and some say that apple won't, and just my warranty is broken and I can't return it.

No they will not, you have voided the warranty and if you cant re-flash it back to normal you are screwed.

no they won't fix it since jailbreaking voids the warranty and even if you unjailbreak it they can check to see if it ever was jb since it leaves traces for apple to find :S

I know about the warranty being broken, but if I pay them to fix it, will they still do it? I think it's a battery problem or something.
Other people said that if they find out, they fine me or take the iPod away.

It's your iPod, so they can't fine you or take it away. Voiding warranty isn't illegal, they just get pissy over it.

What if someone else jailbroke it without asking you and you dont know who the fuck did it or what if you dont know what the fuck it is, just play plain stupid.

If it's unrecoverable, they probably won't check if it's been jailbroken; it's worth at least sending it in.

Voids the warranty. There always is a slight risk when you do exactly what the developers didn't want you to do with their product.

Restore it and say sometimes it has abnormal freezes. I doubt that they're going to spend so much time looking for traces incase you had jailbroken it.

My friend has done it but he didn't get it fixed. He got a brand new one.

You can send it to them and get it fixed, without warranty that is... but they gonna charge you like $50-100 to fix it.
