a friend of mine is going to buy a pc, he already picked out the parts, he asked me if is it an awesome build...
Intel® X-58 Motherboard- Socket 1366 Core i7 Ready, DDR3 Memory <-motherboard
Intel® Core™ i7-975 Extreme 3.33 GHz 8MB Cache <-processor
Dual 1,792 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 295 <-videocard
24GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz – 6 x 4096MB <-RAM
512GB (2 x 256GB) Solid State Drive <-storage drive
Killer Xeno Pro <-what is this?
i also told him to buy a liquid cooling cause he plays too much and he needs to avoid too much heat (where can he get one?)

Failure. Too far away from enough.
Get 2x 500/650/more.
24GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz – 6 x 4096MB <-RAM
Completely unneeded except if he is 3d modeler or edits too much videos.
4gb is enough, 8gb is much more than enough.
Also, the videocard is too overpowered, but that's his money.
